Anno 1914. L’ippodromo di Lasarte annuncia una gara con un premio mai visto prima per il cavallo vincitore. Concorrono gli otto migliori cavalli del mondo. Tifosi e grandi scommettitori da tutto il mondo si danno appuntamento per partecipare al grande evento: il Gran Premio di Mezzo Milione... / The year 1914. The Lasarte racetrack announces a race with a never-before-seen prize for the winning horse. Eight of the best horses in the world are registered. Fans and heavy betters from all over the world gather to participate in the great event: the Half Million Grand Prize...

Biografia/Biography

(Oiartzun, 1980). Laureato in Belle Arti presso l’Università dei Paesi Baschi, è stato sceneggiatore e disegnatore di fumetti per Napartheid, e ha vissuto a Bilbao, Madrid e Londra. Ha lavorato inoltre come disegnatore di storyboards,  animatore tradizionale e di 3D e anche si è occupato di post-produzione. “La gran carrera” è il suo primo cortometraggio. / (Oiartzun, 1980). He graduated in Fine Arts at the University of the Basque Country, he has been a comic scriptwriter and artist for Napartheid. He has lived in Bilbao, Madrid and London. He has been a storyboard artist, traditional and 3D animator and he has also worked in post production. “La gran carrera” is his first short film.
