Press Conference Call 2023 Edition

Author’s Passages: Mediterranean Interlacements returns to Sant’Antioco, the short film festival, this year reaches its nineteenth edition, organized by the Circolo del Cinema Immagine with the artistic direction of Dolores Calabrò and the bosnian director Ado Hasanović. The festival will be held from 2 to 7 December, six days dedicated to short films from Mediterranean countries, selected and awarded in the most prestigious competitions and festivals.

The festival is traditionally divided into two parts. The competitive section Mediterranean Interlacements will include a selection with important short films produced in the Mare Nostrum area. Every year the focus is dedicated to a different mediterranean country: this year it will be Turkey.

The second competitive section Intrinas offers some of the best short films by Sardinian authors. There will also be sections dedicated to environmental issues, author music videos and a selection of works presented this year at the Clermont-Ferrand and Sarajevo festivals.

The detailed program of the festival will be presented to the press this Thursday 16 November at 11:00 am via videoconference.

The Mayor of Sant’Antioco Ignazio Locci, the artistic director Ado Hasanović, the president of the Circolo del Cinema “Immagini” Luciano Cauli, the curator of the Videoclip – Music Video d’Autore section Bruno Di Marino and Simone Cavagnino of UNICA Radio will be present during the press conference.

This nineteenth edition of Author’s Passages: Mediterranean Interlacements is organized by the Circolo del Cinema “Immagini” with the contribution of the Municipality of Sant’Antioco, the Sardinia Foundation with the patronage of the President of the Regional Council of Sardinia, the Italian Touring Club; media partner Unica Radio, Film TV, OrangeFactory; partner Sarajevo Film Festival, Festival du court métrage de Clermont-Ferrand, Cineteca Bologna, CoopMed, F.I.C.C. – Italian Federation of Cinema Clubs, with the collaboration of Assistech, Boost and TuttoSantAntioco.
